Springbrook Middle School 6-8 Choir
Mrs. Barbara Schenck, Director
Dear Parents & Students,
Welcome to 7/8 choir! This is a new beginning for all of us in our new room! I am so excited to have you in class and hope you are ready to take a chance at achieving more than you could imagine. You will work individually to improve your singing and understanding of music and we will work together to create blend – which produces beautiful music. Come prepared everyday to try your best!
There are several key words and approaches to learning we will focus us this year. First, you will always be asked to THINK! It is my favorite word (thanks to my mom) and thinking helps us stay focused. We will focus on Springbrook PRIDE: Productivity, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Excellence in our classroom, the hallways, the bathrooms, the cafeteria and in every conversation with every person.
Listed below are several procedures to help you understand how our class will function.

Springbrook Men In Sync and Lady Singers C
Performance at Anderson Funeral Home – Open House
December 2nd – sing from 1-1:30 pm Arrive at 12:40
Dear Parents and Students:
We have been invited to sing for Anderson Funeral Home Open House. This is an honor for many years it was the HS being invited. We will be singing right before Santa arrives so our audience will be large.
Please arrive at 1:40 to prepare to sing. Parents, this event only lasts from 1-1:30 so please stay and enjoy the singing, food and fellowship. Once the singing is completed, you are free to leave. You may also stay and enjoy the food and other performing groups.
Men in Sync – wear your black button down shirt and black plants – bow ties will be provided.
Lady Singers – wear an “ugly or cute Christmas” sweater with black pants. Hair should be styled nicely.
Everyone should wear black shoes.
December 3rd - Lady Singers C will be performing at the City Commission meeting at 6:55 pm. Please arrive at 6:40. We will be singing 2 songs. Parents, please do not leave your child. They will only be there for 25-30 minutes.
Any questions – please contact me at email@example.com
Musically yours, Mrs. Schenck
Lady Singers caroled at 6 Nursing/Assisted Living Homes on December 19th. It was a joy to sing and share the Christmas spirit. Thank you to Music Boosters for providing busing.
Festival will be in March 21-22. We will need parent chaperones. Please be sure to have a Volunteer Form on file.
